^^Yep Live & Loud is rare but not super rare say like Ozzmosis. Vinyl wasn’t in high demand in the 90’s as most people had switched to cd’s so vinyl was getting pressed in much smaller quantities or not at all. Cheapest original Euro pressing of Live & Loud on Discogs is $300 and over $600 in mint condition with insert and tattoos which mine has.

Still in the original shrink.

Just some cool little Ozzy oddities outside of his general studio & live discography I’ve amassed over the years.

I knew I had these.somewhere. Went through the whole collection today and of course I found them in the last section of my collection, amongs the bootlegs.

A bit of unusual vinyl. I don't remember when I got this, but have had it for a long time. It is a collection of songs from the labels' talent pool, and include Rod Stewart (Handbags and Gladrags), Uriah Heep (Gypsy), and Black Sabbath (Behind the Wall of Sleep).

^^^That is unusual. I wonder if that was the first multi artist compilation Sabbath was on?

Speaking of multi artist compilations. Does everyone remember this soundtrack?

Has the alternate version of The Mob Rules

I believe that is the second comp with Black Sabbath on it. I'll have to look at some stuff, but I think that there was a Vertigo Sampler II that came out in '69 that featured two songs from the Sabs: Black Sabbath and The Wizard.

I don't have the Heavy Metal soundtrack, but it was ubiquitous back then and never felt the need to get it. Plus it had Journey on it.

The film was quite psychedelic for the time, and nothing like I expected.

I got the soundtrack before I saw the movie, I was instantly disappointed by the lack of metal on an album named Heavy Metal. Then again, should I have expected otherwise with Stevie Nicks and Journey on the cover? Get it for the alternate version of "The Mob Rules", leave the rest aside.

Yeah the music and movie didn't quite mix...Not enough Heavy Metal...for a movie named Heavy Metal...also what annoyed me was that in the movie they played more of E5150 than Mob Rules... :D

I think...it's been like 20+ years since I've seen it...

I could easily go another 20 without seeing it again and be just fine. Trying to animate a magazine wasn't the best of ideas, especially when they don't even animate in the same style as the best contributing artists to the magazine - particularly noting the lack of Druillet-influenced material.

There's a whole discussion there about which version does it better. I'm usually on the fence, but I'll reach for the film version for a darker tone.
