Spinning Bay Area thrashers Heathen’s debut album from 1987 “Breaking The Silence”. Headed up by the twin guitar attack of Lee Altus now with Exodus and the talented Doug Piercy. Surprised to see it was actually produced by Ronnie Montrose which I never knew until now just looking over the credits.

One of the more underrated Bay Area albums and bands from the 80’s.

OG 87 Combat pressing.

Well thought I'd start with my collection as well...

So first off is my Blaze stuff.

All signed by the man himself naturally.

The last part of the trilogy came with the box that you can fit all 3 in...with a numbered and named certificate plus a photo book, lyrics used in the recording process and lots of other stuff.

Silicon Messiah is the 15th anniversary edition...it was never released on vinyl originally.

The Man Who Would Not Die is the original very limited run from 2007.

This year the second Blaze album TENTH DIMENSION will also be released on vinyl...preorders from Blaze started a while ago...naturally I was among the first people to order that too.

When Chris Caffery announced there would be a vinyl version for the incredible Spirits Of Fire album he did with Tim "Ripper" Owens, Steve DiGeorgio and Mark Zonder I knew I had to get it and as luck would have it Chris got 50 advanced copies of it and sold them from his website so ofcourse I went along and ordered one..

The amazing cover art really shines on vinyl!

Very nice collection Charger. It looks Blaze puts a lot of work into the art and packaging with his albums.  Neat signature too.

Yeah he does. Since he's pretty much doing it himself he tends to put a lot of effort in putting out the best possible product for the fans...especially as making vinyls isn't all that cheap nowadays....

I'll be posting more pics bit by bit as I go through my small collection.

This is an old photo I took of my Kill ‘Em All collection a few years ago but it’s relevant today as Kill ‘Em All celebrated its 37th birthday yesterday.

The Creeping Death Picture disc looks awesome!

That's pretty cool to have so many copies of the same album....Cost a small fortune I imagine!

They do now but not back when I acquired them.

I’m still missing a couple of original coloured vinyl Creeping Death singles white and translucent green to go with my blue, clear and white ones but the price for them now is just too over the top to bother getting them.

OK, so what's the story on the multiple albums of the same release? Special vinyl or anything like that?

No special releases, although No Remorse is the original special edition leather version from 84 but both are the same. Sometimes if I come across what I think is a bargain I grab it even when I already have it which was the case with No Remorse. Same with Bomber and Overkill which they just happened to be different pressings to the ones I already had. They were both original U.S pressings to compliment the original UK pressings I already had.

As for Kiss of Death, they’re the same pressing, just forgot I already had it which is a worry because it’s only 14 years old.
