Always wanted that St. Valentine's Day EP. I've got the 7", but never ran across the larger one that the two of you have!

^^ Yeah , cool EP !
If I remember correctly, Phil Taylor couldn't play on it, he almost broke his neckfew days before , which explains the neck brace he wears on the cover. Denis Dufort recorded the 3 tracks.
... And thanx to Kim for her so sexy legs, my god !

another one with my collection of original EPs 7' and 12' of Motörhead :

Nice bunch there. There are certain bands that just the cover art alone on their singles make them worth owning. Motörhead is one of those bands.

^^ I read that as soon as Brian Roberston came into the band, Phil Taylor wanted to be taken seriously as a musician, he was a huge Thin Lizzy fan. Therefore, he no longer wanted to appear as a bully. I note his attitude on the cover of the EP "I Got Mine": very serious, almost beautiful !
I like these little stories in the big one.

I have it since its release in 1989 .... on CD!
But the album disappointed me so much that I never wanted to buy it back on vinyl.
I have Restless Heart, Coverdale/Page , the awesome Coverdale solo album Into The Light, Good to Be Bad and Forevermore on CD too .

I have it on vinyl since it was released. Hadn’t yet switched fully to cds back then. Yeah the album was kind of a disappointment at the time following up from 1987. Steve Vai never seemed the right fit but giving the album another chance years later it was much better than I remembered. It’s actually a pretty solid rocking consistent album. Judgement Day and Wings of the Storm are absolute bangers.

Last Saturday, I was at a vinyl exhibition sale close to my house. I have been going there for 4 years. I found the Motörhead - Overkill  7" EP with Too Late Too Late on B-side , good shape and the one and only HSAS - Through the Fire 1984 album with Sammy Hager - Neil Schon - Kenny Aaronson and Michael Shrieve on drums , in very good shape too , cool price.
I met a guy with whom I discussed this and that for a long time and he informed me of a big event at 1h30 from my house: The international vinyl Salon , the most event of its kind in the country !! I didn' t know that !
So now , can't wait for Saturday, December 2d to visit this:

I had posted about looking for a copy of Yellowman's "Nobody Move" on the Volcano label a while back.

Well, damned if it didn't show up on my doorstep today. Super-clean, sounds great! I'm pretty well amazed I finally found it, they didn't press a whole lot of them (Greensleeves in the UK immediately picked it up and pressed a bunch of them). And that label was only distributed local in Jamaica, and the people that bought them tended to play the shit out of them. The cover doesn't even have any ring wear, and half of it is white. It actually made me suspicious, but it checks out as an original first pressing.

Whoever bought this must have only played it twice and then never took it out again until it found its way to the used record store.

If more than three people cared about collecting Yellowman vinyl, it'd be worth a crap ton of cash. Thankfully it isn't or my wife would kill me because I would have bought it anyway lol.

Glad you found it! That album has been back-of-my-mind in searches over the last few years.

Speaking of Jamaican music, find an old Ska recording and play it back to back with Fats Domino's "Be My Guest". Then be totally unsurprised to find out that Yellowman, along with a bunch of other Jamaican musicians/DJs, are good buddies with Fats Domino. :D

Interestingly, Fats travelled to Jamaica back in the day when Yellowman was catching fire, and they jammed a bit. Yellowman, I believe, released a record that is basically Fats Domino covers and has stated that he was a massive influence.
