This, being the last day of 2021, I thought I'd start it off with this gem:

The Hard-Ons formed at the high school that my old man went to (admittedly a few years after he graduated), and I see Ray now and then through his job. Good bunch of guys.

@Vyn Have you had your Halford Resurrection silver vinyl shipped yet? Something strange went on with my preorder. I paid by PayPal pay in 4 instalments back in September last year, at least I thought I did, but I received an email from Century Media yesterday advising me that they couldn’t process my order until I updated my CC. I found the original PayPal invoice but the instalments never came out of my account it seems so subsequently I updated my CC as requested by Century Media and was charged straight away for the order. I ordered 2 and they’ve been shipped.

Today I find a fraudulent charge from Amazon US on my statement for $59.61. Nothing I’ve ordered from Amazon has totalled that price so contacted Amazon and they don’t have a record of that payment on my account.

Seems a bit coincidental. Have now had to cancel my CC and have another one sent.

@Jack - It hasn't shipped yet. Man, that's some screwed up shit about your CC. I'll have to take a look at my transactions and see if there's anything odd going on in that regard.

Turns out my CC didn’t get frauded after all. It was an Amazon preorder from 6 months ago which funnily enough was the black vinyl version of Resurrection. Dirty on Amazon as when I contacted them to question the charge they told me there was nothing on my account to indicate the charge and to contact my bank. I got a shipping confirmation from them 2 days ago. I cancelled my card for no reason and yesterday spent a couple of hours contacting the companies that I have monthly direct debits with to update my new CC details. So you will be good to go with Century Media Vyn. Did you originally pay with PayPal?

Yeah, stoner/doom. Has a strong early '70's vibe to it.
