Picked myself up another turntable. Brand new Sony PS-LX310BT

Sounds amazing for its price. Very happy with it.

I bought that on vinyl when it first came out, I still have it somewhere!

Does that have the fantastic booklet of sci-fi pictures?

Yep mines an original Oz numbered edition with the booklet. It’s an 8 page booklet made up of group photos, tour photos, lyrics and these fantastic sci fi pictures you mentioned.

That's cool! Is this a replacement turntable or an additional turntable?

It was going to be an additional turntable but I’ve already packed the old one up and put it away such is my liking for this new one. Been wanting a new modern turntable for awhile and have had my eye on this one. Amazon had it discounted from $400 down to $275 so pulled the trigger on it.

Excellent! That Sony is a solid performer and should do your collection justice for a good long time.

@Vyn Not sure if you have this already but AmazonUS has it on sale for $139
https://www.amazon.com/Ace-Spades-BOX-SET-LTD/dp/B08GMFRK4R/ref=sr_1_1?crid=38HW8RBQSOE58&dchild=1&keywords=motörhead+vinyl&qid=1626738191&sprefix=Motörhead+vi%2Caps%2C418&sr=8-1

Even cheaper on AmazonAU but I already got mine a while back. It’s now $41 cheaper than what I paid  ::) :wall:

Kreator “Under The Guillotine” Boxset - Made the last payment on this today and brought it home

Also picked up this yesterday. RSD reissue of original box cover with poster on purple vinyl

Haven’t opened and played it yet so don’t know how good the pressing is but here’s a stock photo from the internet

Im' still searching for original vinyls that I only had in K7 format or belonged to my brother forty years ago.
Yesterday morning a vinyl albums sales convention took place 30 minutes from my home. I also went there last year. I had just forgotten to buy Rocka Rolla seen in the racks of the first seller. At the end of my research, I left the place and remembered it once I got home: "Shit !!"
I found it yesterday at the penultimate seller. It was worth the wait: not very expensive but a lot of cracks. I cleaned it in the shower but will have to undergo a few more water assault and purified with distilled water then to hope for a comfortable listening.
The 2 Whitesnake items are here to complete my collection which I've decided to complete in the coming months.
Tank's second album is so unexpected. At this price and in this perfect condition, I couldn't miss it. A Power trio aided by Motörhead at a time when thrash was still in its infancy on the US West Coast. I have the first one left to find.
Finally, I found the original copy of Trust-Répression with the inside photo of Bernie with Bon Scott. The current re-edited copies are just awful. I played it yesterday at the end of the afternoon and I was happy to see that I had only forgotten a few lyrics. I especially understood that I was singing that when I was 14 years old without really understanding the political and social messages.
Other albums are there more for my memories and my attachment to them than for their essential aspect and their intrinsic musical quality.
This is the case with Black Tiger and Vardis 100 MPH, a very good Speed Boogie.

That's a fine haul from the record show! What label is Rocka-Rolla on?
