Depends...If I'm reading a news paper I'd rather if it'd be paper but if I want to suck juice out of a box it should be plastic but ofcourse with the green terror even that is no longer possible and we get paper straws that break before you even get them into the damn juice box which makes me so mad that I'd like to strangle every single green hippimotherfucker in 20 mile radius!

I'll go with plastic it has more usage and is more durable.
