CBD Oils, Do They Work?

I was wondering if anyone on here knows whether CBD oils work, the one you have to drop under your tongue, I have tried it because I suffer from Anxiety, and it doesn't seem to do anything I can't even feel any calming effects.

Thel answered me in the Daily Thoughts thread, is there a certain strength I should try?

They are expensive, I've bought one that cost me $85, and I feel like it was money thrown out.

Another question does taking this stuff show up on drug tests?

Nothing really proven, aside from helping with seizures. For all we know, anecdotal stories of success may just be placebo effect.

Elves you will need to take five to ten drops under the tongue depending on the strength of the tincture.
And yes it will show up on a drug test as there is almost always a small percentage of THC within the CBD oil.

I am not sure about that one but since hemp IS marijuana with almost little to no THC, it might be good way to get CBD instead of using strains that are high in THC. Taking the "hemp" strains mostly used for rope and thread and crossing them with some of the newly developed strains that are high in CBD content might create a almost THC free CBD oil.

There are other treatments for anxiety out there... back in 1997, I took a tablet for about a year that allowed me to get a grip on things with my anxiety. I did therapy sessions with a psychologist at the same time, and the combination of the pill and talking cure did very well by me.

Studies do show that the combination can be most effective for long-term cure/treatment for most people. I feel like the medication stabilized me, but the talking cure gave me the mental tools I needed to deal with those issues in the future.

How can CBD oil be legal and you can lose your job, it’s over the counter stuff.

Can someone answer me this? They did random drug test a week ago at my job, and two guys got fired, for drugs in their system.

Can't remember the name of the prescription, it was 23 years ago and may likely have been replaced with a more effective remedy that may or may not have reduced side effects - I remember it gave me dry mouth all day long.

CBD oil is legal, but employers can still decide to fire people for eating poppyseed muffins or using products derived from marijuana that leave THC in the bloodstream. That's why some CBD oil makers focus on hemp, which doesn't have the THC in it.

That being said, while states may have legalized or decriminalized marijuana usage, it's still a Schedule I controlled substance on the federal level. Firms are within rights to do drug screens and to initiate punitive HR measures on the results of those screens.
