Pamela and Tony have been facebook friends for a long time and they actually share birthdays so they've gotten pretty close and Tony said she was the obvious (only) choice to sing on the song.

^^^Gillan is sounding remarkably well in that clip. Something just sounds a little off with the rest of the band though. Never been a fan Morse’s take on Blackmore. His tone seems too processed & modern  and he over does the pinch harmonics and dive bombs. Ian Paice sounds like his triggering his drums these days, which is kinda understandable given his age. I’d still go watch them live as much as I’m not a fan of Steve Morse.

Man, I should sound so good when I'm that old! Big Ian hits 77 this year.

Speaking of old, that song came out 37 years ago in 1985... and I was 17 and couldn't get out of school to the record shop soon enough to buy the album!
