Last Saturday, With my brother I had lunch with a (rare) friend of mine that I had not seen since ... 1982. Fast Eddie had just left Motörhead. Dirty business. He left the town , his father was working in the army. He was a fan of Rose Tattoo, Girlschool and of course Motörhead . He loved Punk too. It was my brother who had reconnected via social networks and organized this meeting.
After a few hours of exchanging good old memories, he made us listen to some things including this band The Donnas! beautiful energy with good  Girlschool vibs at their beginning. Yes, I confess, I was madly in love with Kim Mc Auliffe and her sexy legs. We had a good laugh.

Shame on me ! I had never listened to this french band. I thought I would hear something average, like so often. big mistake! although this is not a model of originality and the product is formatted, the band performs their Metal with great precision and talent. Madie, The new female singer, smokes seriously.

And then... "Sally Brown" by Bad Manners. Got a protopunk/ska thing going on for my playlist this morning. :D

Very good album but the sound seems too much saturated and way too compressed for my taste .

Found the album at https://the-limit.bandcamp.com/album/caveman-logic so I'm on their notification list now. Looking forward to the full album in April!
