I Had a Dream About Motley Crue

... that they had released a country album and were performing at the Country Music Awards.

I've got the song "Same Old Situation" stuck in my head right now, and it has a violin accompaniment to it, and it's in a more country key.

When I woke up, I remembered that Bon Jovi is now a country act, so it could happen. Cinderella's "Gypsy Road" is a country song by now, doesn't even have to change... basically, all the pop-metal from MTV in the mid-80s is either country, or ready to be made into a country song.

My dream was a portend of the future, possibly? If so, sorry Jack, unless you also like country tunes.

What makes you think I'm a pop metal fan? Out of the hundreds of pop metal bands that spawned the 80's I liked about 3. Motley, Dokken and Ratt, and that was before they were considered pop or hair metal and before the countless copycats.

So you could say I'm neither a fan of pop metal or country music.

I do have the first 2 Cinderella albums though and some LA Guns and Great White albums as well but I wouldn't even call myself a closet fan.

Just a sorry about dreaming that Crue went country, since I know you're a fan of theirs. The others, you're right, they're pretty much come and go, don't really care or mind them.
