I was searching Amazon for Deep Purple and one of the searches that came up was the Copenhagen 72 show on 2 CDs. I noticed that they were part of a series and searched specifically for them - I believe that there is 5 or 6 of them released so far. The ones I have are really great sounding and show what a kick ass live band Deep Purple is.
I recommend them for any fan of these Hard Rock/Proto Metal giants.

I've had Copenhagen 1972 on videotape (Scandinavian Nights) for a long time.  I also have other DP titles on CD, DVD and videotape which I could list here if anyone's interested.

On the Canadian Amazon the In Concert 72 CD is more expensive compared to three quarters of the live series I am referencing. I only paid 14 for the most expensive one and that was Copenhagen 72 but that is pretty reasonable for a double album. The other two were just under 10 bucks.
I would like to get that In Concert 72 CD and probably will once I have gotten the rest of the series that I am currently collecting.
Never enough Purple in my opinion.

But yeah...Too much Purple is an impossibility

That would be great - I know I am interested especially the ones on CD.

Okay, here goes (I'm also including a vinyl release I have):

Made In Japan - 2 LP Canadian WB issue
Live in Japan - 3 CD UK import
Scandinavian Nights - videotape of complete Copenhagen 1972 show, UK release
Doin' Their Thing - videotape of 1970 Granada cable TV performance, UK release
Scandinavian Nights - 2 CD UK import; radio broadcast of complete Stockholm 1970 show
History, Hits and Highlights - 2 DVD Canadian release
Classic Albums: Machine Head - DVD Canadian release
New, Live and Rare - picture CD Japan import; various rare live and studio tracks from the Mark II lineup

I also have other DP releases on vinyl and CD but I believe the above titles best fit into the context of live material that has been officially issued.  As you can see, I did include some non-live releases that I have.

Scandinavian Nights is *not* the Copenhagen show. That one is Machine Head Live.

Scandinavian Nights is a very early Mk2 show in Stockholm, where Gillan does a ton of Mk1 material and the band is finding its way from psychedelic into hard rock.

As for Machine Head Live, BRILLIANT show, especially when Gillan tells off the guy at the front to stop whatever nonsense he's doing, right in the middle of a verse of "Highway Star".

Don't forget the video of their Cal Jam performance, it's brilliant stuff, even with Glenn Hughes screaming like he's just done a lot of coke.

Scandinavian Nights is the name of the videotape I bought in London UK in the early 90's which contains the complete Copenhagen 1972 show.  That show has also been released on videotape as Machine Head Live.

Scandinavian Nights is also the name of the 2 CD release of the Stockholm 1970 show.  So it can be kind of confusing as it's the same lineup - Mark II - but a different show and a different year.

I don't have California Jam on DVD but I knew I would forget another release I have, which contains footage from the Cal. Jam show: Heavy Metal Pioneers - videotape compilation of vintage archive footage and new band interviews, Canadian release.
