Master of Reality is running in the Melbourne Cup again tomorrow. Backed it last year and it finished 2nd beaten a nose and ended up getting relegated to 4th on protest. It’s form leading up has been solid but not quite as good as last year.

Should I have something on it?

Just a pound, for fun, I'd say. I'm not a betting man.

Yes I’m gonna have to. It would be typical if it it gets up this year and I’m not on it. I’ll have something on Very Elegant as well.

Seemed a no brainer to have at least something on him. Looking through Master Of Reality’s form he’d been beaten easily in a couple of lead up runs by stablemate Twilight Payment but yet Twilight was bigger odds. Go figure?

Quite the farce going on in the US elections once again...

Trump doing better than anyone expected...which I don't think is much of a surprise...not so much because of Trump but because of Biden.

Hundreds Of Thousands of mail votes have magically "disappeared" which should not have been a surprise to anyone.

The 148 year old crow Nancy Pelosi already wants yet another term as Speaker of the House!


Well all this makes good entertainment if nothing else.

Honestly no matter which canditate wins the country won't be better off that's for sure.

It's looking more and more like a bunch of lawyers are going to scoop up a lot of money. We'll see.

Friend of mine said he was going to watch the returns until a winner was declared. I called him at 7:00 am my time to see if he was still watching. His wife laughed and said he passed out about 2 am.

Buried in the news yesterday was a story about a Jewish cemetery in Michigan being defaced with right-wing graffiti.

I have many Jewish friends and acquaintances that are worried about the rise in antisemitic violence and incidents in the USA.

Buried in the news yesterday was a story about a Jewish cemetery in Michigan being defaced with right-wing graffiti.

I caught that story. Person(s) unknown spray painted "Trump" and "MAGA" on six headstones in that cemetery sometime over the weekend. Other than the Bubba-esque obtuseness of it, what I find telling is that the Rabbi indicated it was the first time in the cemetery's 120 year history that it has been vandalized. The telling part is that Jewish grave desecration is such a commonplace occurrence in general that he felt it was worth noting.

I have many Jewish friends and acquaintances that are worried about the rise in antisemitic violence and incidents in the USA.

I hope that is not the case. What we are setting ourselves up to reap from the divisiveness that has been sown in our country lately sure seems to make my statement pathetic, though.
