I don't have spotify, I will never have spotify...they screw bands over and the ceo is a complete fucking wanker and I am not okay with that and I will boycott them as long as I shall live.

Yep I get that, but I do most of my listening while out & about these days and I pretty much stopped buying cds a long time ago now and solely only buy vinyl with new releases so I don’t have any other way of listening to this stuff on my phone while mobile. Streaming is just strictly a convenience thing for me.

I've had similar journeys with YouTube and starting off with Cactus. Also poking Vyn to see what falls out, sometimes we get some really awesome stuff we've never heard of before.

Maybe we need a thread for sharing our 70s discoveries?

Yep Cactus popped up as well Wicked Lady, Dust, Lucifers Friend and Jerusalem just to name a few. All good stuff.

There are other ways too... If I need music on my phone I rip it from a cd and put it on the memory card. You could do the same from Vinyl...and you wouldn't have to support a vermin...

Agreed.  I have never understood paying for something if you don't have to.

Way too fiddly and time consuming to me. Besides, my kids use Spotify as well so it’s a family account. If I took away their Spotify they’d listen to music a lot less and I don’t want that.

Yep a gravelly Phil Mogg is a good call, even a less nasally Zakk Wylde. They definitely didn’t mind a bit of controversy with their covers and lyrics. They refused to kowtow to the mainstream early on which probably hurt them a bit. Let me know what you think Z. Shylock is a classic!

Loved the playing on the album, didn't listen too intently to the lyrics, probably for the best on that last part.

It's a true slice of the 70s, and I'm gonna thank you for turning me on to it.
