The RRHOF is at it again with their clueless stupidity & hypocrisy.
Motörhead is finally up for nomination to be inducted but they have seen fit not to include Phil Campbell(31 years service 16 albums) and Mikkey Dee(22 years 12 albums) on the ballot to be inducted. Yet Robert Trujillo was inducted with Metallica for at the time was 7 years service and 1 album. Evans, Coverdale & Hughes inducted with Deep Purple for less than 5 years service and 3 albums. There are countless other examples of their hypocrisy too but none more glaring than Phil & Mikkey being left out, not to mention Wurzel too.

@ Jack - You had prolonged abdominal pain and you were ignoring it?  Come on, Jack, you are smarter than that. 

I know, my wife was super pissed at me. I laid in bed in agony for 2 days, I would've went a day earlier but I remember there was a limited item that was going onsale on Metallica.com that I wanted as I was collecting a set, they'd go onsale at a specific time and would sell out in less than a minute and going to hospital meant I was going to miss out. Anyway I managed to secure the item I desperately wanted at the time of sale and then rang an ambulance straight after. Ended up in hospital for the following 8 days 

  Well, I don't know if to call you a loyal fan or a loony.

Yeah this is yet another bloody joke on the Hall Of Lame's part...Two of the longest serving members (besides Lemmy) are snubbed...beyond a travesty.

So dad is sorta getting better, insofar as the infection isn't so bad, his kidneys are functioning better and he seems a little more alert. Sadly he's still confused and frankly makes little sense. He thinks he can go home, but that won't happen for a while, and keeps trying to get out of bed even though he's plugged into a drip, oxygen and a catheter. We beleive he has ripped his canular out at least once because he either doesn't understand what it is or it irritates him.

We've been told the confusion should get better once the infection clears.

That's sounds like pretty positive news Kilo compared to a week ago. Glad to hear he's slowly but surely getting better.

Well good to hear he is doing better KDC!

Sounds very much the same as it was with my grandpa back in the day...he too was very restless and pulled out his iv's and catheter so they actually had to restrain him.

A bit of a shock today, an early morning call from the hospital to say that dad had died. While the infection had improved, a doctor took aside yesterday to say that blood tests were showing some poor markers, even so they were talking about the next steps and discussing performing a minor procedure on his gall bladder, so I'm guessing this has surpised them as well. We'll find out more later when we go in and start doing the formalities.
