So got pretty close to dying just now...

Was lifting the tarp off from the firewood pile and underneath a wasp nest which I didn't register at first...

One of those little fuckers got me on my bicep...which ain't too far from the neck.

Being as allergic to those little shits as I am...well one well placed sting and that might have been the end.

Now my bicep hurts like a motherfucker and it'll probably swell up twice it's size....Took some antihistamine right away but doubt it'll help much.

Out of all the useless fucking critters on this planet honestly I hate wasps the most. They serve no purpose only damage fruit, trees and eat and destroy apples. Not to mention the damage to houses and whatnot. And ofcourse they aren't affected by the disesase that's killing of useful creatures like bees and bumble bees...no. Fuck that fuck them...and fuck me for being a dumbass.

Hang in there, Charger.  You should be able to heal up in a week or so.  Perhaps some proper ointment at your local drug store would help ease the process.

With regard to your condemnation of Wasps:  There are many different species and I don't know what your local one is like, but in my area they actually are parasites to many of the pest insects, which helps keep down the pest insect population.

Typhon yeah...it'll take about a week maybe two depending just how bad it'll get..can't really remember anymore as it's been about 20 years or so since my last wasp sting.

Been very careful about those and killing every single one I've seen and getting rid of the nests as soon as I spot one. I've been able to keep the population down in my yard like that. Usually there's one nest that grows big which I miss early on...well this was it now.

Well emptied a good load of pesticide there (made it bit too strong actually as I got some in my nose and now that's making me sick damn what a day...) and it's pretty darn quiet now...in the words of Slayer Payback's a bitch motherfucker!

As for their usefullness...well yeah they can be predatorial towards smaller insects but hardly to an extent that would actually make a difference...especially considering how dangerous and otherwise destructive they can be.
