I didn’t know that, this stuff is too hard to keep up with, labels and all that bullshit.

Hopefully this will bring more and new exposure to the Tony Martin era, and thus bring in some money for the guy.

Well everything released up to The Eternal Idol was done by Vertigo and everything since up to Forbidden was done by IRS.

But the Dehumanizer is the odd one out as it was originally done by IRS but it was when Ronnie joined again in 2006 taken back to WB so that they could release the DIO Years and the Rules Of Hell. Or something along those lines...Honestly I am not entirely sure about all of this either....If I recall though the rights of the IRS albums went to EMI at some point...or was it that IRS was bought out by EMI?

So many of these old record companies have since either gone belly up or were bought up by a bigger one...so it is hard to keep track.
All the I.R.S. releases were distributed by EMI from 1990 up until they folded in 96 except Headless Cross which was solely owned and distributed by I.R.S. I think Tony assumed the rights to all the I.R.S. releases sometime after they folded.  Reprise records on the other hand who were owned by WB were apparently given the U.S/North American rights to Dehumanizer as a sweetener to release Dio from his WB contract at the time so he could rejoin Sabbath for the Dehumanizer album...So the story goes anyway.

Yes, I would say Forbidden is my most anticipated album, there is right now, that and all the Martin era albums when Tony gets around to doing them.

Ii consider the question mark after Exodus to be quite appropriate, as it's likely mainly a question of whether or not Gary is able to juggle both his commitment to tour with Slayer for their Farewell run and writing and recording songs, etc. for Exodus' next album.
