Happy (?) New Year To The Community!

Well...

I could go on and on about how bloody miserable this past year has been but I won't...it serves no point.

I could also go on and on about how bloody miserable the next year is gonna be but I won't...won't make any difference anyways.

So yeah...welcome the new year...it's the same as the old year.

The truth is for some of us nothing ever changes and misery travels with us no matter what we do and where we go. Some things just cannot change.


But regardless of my state, I would still like to wish all of YOU a happy new year!

Charger, if I may say something, my state is much like yours, I have no friends not even at work, there is always hope my friend, just grasp onto that and never give it up.

You are one of the few that has been kind to me, shows you are a good person.

I will keep hope for you my friend and I use the word literally, a Happy New Year to you and everyone on here.

For the record I am a bit of a loner and most of my friends are more like acquaintances. I only have my Mom for family and she lives 5000 miles away on the other side of the country.
Music keeps me alive if I am totally honest. Also having you friends here on the Community really improves my quality of life.

Anyway - Happy New Year everybody and I hope you all have a wonderful year in 2019.

Well I always get bit down on christmas and new years...especially on new years I suppose as you kind of end up reflecting the year gone by whether you want to or not and well...that always gets me down.

Many many years ago I thought that the next year cannot possibly be as bad as the one before but...alas...it always is, so that's a hope I no longer have. Having such realism about the state of affairs does give atleast a certain solace if nothing else. With no expectations you can not be let down by the reality.


Well I better stop before this becomes even more depressing... 20 minutes to midnight.
