Not only for being a metal connoisseur of impeccable taste, not merely for "keeping the faith" as it were, not just because he's a stand-up guy. But also for his behind-the-scenes legwork with regard to gaining legitimate insight into the passing of our friend Billy.

I know Jack and I have had our differences both here and back on the other place but I do have to join you guys in saying thanks for him getting the added info about our friend Billy!

That meant a lot to me finding out the stuff that we did thanks to Jack.

Also I would like to take this opportunity to say I am more than happy to leave our differences in the past and start a new era of joint friendship.

Not to take anything away from Jack, whom I have extreme respect for, but was it not Vyn, himself, who initial broke the news of Billy's passing?  And Vyn who also nailed down the exact date he died?  Please let me know if I am remembering incorrectly.

Thanks Vyn and everyone. I have to say, the thankful and appreciative replies I got back from from all of you's from the pm was very heart warming to say the least. You guys are all class!

However, I have to echo Typhon's thoughts, all I did was tie up some lose ends and try and seek some closure for us. Vyn went above and beyond to get the real answer as to what had become of our much loved friend Billy. Otherwise we'd probably still be sitting here today not really knowing and maybe never knowing. So the biggest thank you goes out to Vyn.

I also want to say... A day still hasn't passed by since Vyn delivered the heartbreaking news I haven't thought about Billy, but being here amongst friends to share our grief and continuing to keep this place active has been a huge tonic for me as I'm sure it has for everyone else too.

Yes ofcourse Vyn deserves all the praise coming to him as well...heck without him we'd still be in limbo about Billy.
