Typhon, maybe you’d be so kind to help me out with a Peter Cushion film? It was about a doctor I think and he would go around killing women and taking their skin for his wife’s face, like plastic surgery or something, I can’t recall the name of this film, it use to scare the bejeebers out of me when I was a kid.

(1964) Third in Hammer's Frankenstein releases.  When Dr. Frankenstein revives his old creature, he decides to enlist the help of a hypnotist because of the creature's brain damage.  But the hypnotist wants to use the creature for his own purposes. 7.5/10

If it is a movie with Peter Cushing in it, chances are I own it (that's Cushing, not Cushion).  At first glance this plot does not sound familiar.  Are you sure it was Cushing in the movie?

And thank you for pointing out to me a Peter Cushing movie I don't have.  I'll have to pick that one up. :)

I can't remember seeing it, but I could have seen it 30+ years ago.

I have Hammer and Amicus collections.  I also collect other movies with Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, and Vincent Price.

Well that's disappointing.

It reminds me of Kevin Dubrow's wig

(2015) Set in 1630s New England, a chilling portrait of a family unraveling within their own fears and superstitions.  Very realistic looking film. 7.5/10

Very good movie Typhon, I bought this on DVD, the ending was great.

This was way before the Salem witch trials, great acting as well, sad to think that superstition and mass hysteria killed all those innocent people back then, brings to mind The Crucible another great movie.

Let me know if you ever get Corruption, I would like to now your opinion on it or if you’ve ever seen.

Great Czech film about witch trials, very gripping. The terror is not supernatural, but the manipulation of the concept of the supernatural.

Which can be even worse than the supernatural.
