So I just had a trip to England and back for business. Hate to say it, but the best meal I had was on the plane.

To be sure, I put myself down for the "Hindu Meal" on dietary preferences. I'm not a Hindu, I just prefer Indian food to the stuff they usually have on hand.

It paid out pretty well. Got a nice dish with rice, dal (like lentils, usually pulsed and mixed with spices), and okra on the way in and then rice, dal, and green beans on the way back. Very well seasoned and full of flavor.

I also got my meal served up first because it was a "special request." :smug: But even if it wasn't served up first, I'd still keep my choice. It was quite yummy and those spices have some important vitamins in them that can help bolster the immune system.
