It's quite eerie as is post #79. Mixing drugs like that is so dangerous and then you throw another one into the mix you're not experianced with it can be a recipe for disaster.

It is eerie. Talk about unintentional foreshadowing, holy smokes.

My first thought was that Billy passed away due to lifestyle choices - either as a direct result of mixed toxicity or organ failure/heart attack from years of substance abuse. Probably both.

But, that's speculation. Albeit informed speculation, but there are any number of things that could have befallen Billy that had nothing to due with dope.

And regardless, it is still a tragic loss.

In short: The useage of high pontency Cannabis causes psychosis. Daily use of high potency cannabis quintuples the risk for a first psychotic disorder compared to people that have never used cannabis and triples the risk compared to people that use low potency cannabis.

This is rather alarming as high potency cannabis is becoming more and more popular.

Raising awareness about
the risks of high-potency cannabis abuse seems there-
fore crucial. It will be extremely important that future
studies evaluating the effects of cannabis use on
brain structure and function include a careful assess-
ment of cannabis potency

^ That is pretty much the conclusion of a book I recently finished reading. The studies we have now are controlled for just about any other factor imaginable and they show a direct and significant relationship between THC exposure and psychosis, both among people with a family and personal history of the disease as well as for those without such history.

Since legalizing recreational pot, the US states that have done so have seen an increase in murder rates, domestic violence, and child abuse/neglect/abandonment.

Too hard to monitor? I don't know...

The whole legalizing this stuff is absurd though...it is a drug and a dangerous one too. I can undestand when used in small ammounts for medicial purproses but other use...I just don't understand...not one damn bit.
