Germany knocked out after going down 2 - 0 to South Korea  Stunning result. Mexico can thank their lucky stars.

You'd probably have to say Croatia has been the most impressive tean in the group stage. Won all three games in a pretty strong group scoring seven goals and only conceding one.

I'm still sticking with my original tip Belgium though.

Japan vs Poland...Poland has been a huuuge disappointment and Japan has been better than anyone could have expected...so I'll go with Japan on this one.

Senegal vs Colombia...Colombia wasn't the same it was 4 years ago and Senegal has played pretty strongly...but I'm still rooting for Colombia here.

England vs Belgium...I know a lot of people are putting big expectations on this one but the truth is both teams have advanced and there is no reason for them to go head to head here with their a-teams...instead they'll probably give their b-teams a chance...this might be another France Denmark thing...0-0

Panama vs Tunisia....will Panama do Costa Ricas and surprise here...I'll say no. Tunisia even got two goals against Belgium.. Tunisia will win this meaningless fight.

I wouldn't argue with those predictions.

The only thing I would say is that the England manager has said they intend to go out to win and not sit back, but there will probably be a few changes but Harry Kane is supposed to be keeping his spot. I don't know what the Belgian manager has said about their tactics.

Personally it would be better if England won the group because then they would play on Monday rather than Tuesday... I've got things planned Tuesday which would make seeing the match awkward!
