Wondering if anyone else ever has dreams about people, places or things and then, maybe years later, encounters those things in real life. This is not dreaming about something you've seen a picture of - this is dreaming about something you've *never* seen, ever, possibly doesn't even exist yet, and then encountering it later on in life.

I've had a number of them in my past and was thinking about them today when I walked into a store I'd never been to before and saw a layout such as I had had in a dream several years ago.

I get certain feelings with those dreams when I have them that they will come true or that I will see that thing one day in my life. Then, when that event happens or I see that thing, I have a confirming feeling that the dreams that are still yet to come true, will come true.

What is most interesting to me is the discovery of a last will and testament of one of my ancestors in which he claimed that his father had had a dream. The ancestor said that his father believed it would come true and that he himself believed it would come true and wanted the content of the dream committed to his final words.

While the dream was had and recorded in England, the events took place several generations later, in the United States of America. This was not vague stuff, but specific, detailed stuff about freedom of belief, breaking with The Church of England, and some family-specific matters.

As I read that, it resonated with me once again that the dreams I had that were to come to pass, but had not yet, would surely come to pass.
