Dave was just remembering this track on facebook as an announcement of a new Bill And Ted movie was made earlier this week..

Quote from:  Dave Mustaine
How cool is this? Bill & Ted are making movie number three. Here is some Megadeth history dating back to the second Bill & Ted movie in 1991:

The original title of the sequel to Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) was originally slated as Bill & Ted Go to Hell. We were commissioned by Interscope Records to compose the title track so we wrote the song “Go to Hell” with that intention and title. However, before the film was released they decided to rename the film Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. At that point, our song was already turned in to the label.

We recorded the song in Los Angeles during a break on the RIP tour in 1991. We then filmed the video on a hot summer day while passing through Chicago with the director and team who filmed the “Holy Wars” video.

Of note: It was the first video where the entire band each had specific character roles; Dave as the dead guy (also singing underwater), Marty as the gatekeeper, Nick the Grim Reaper and Ellefson as the priest. The Devil was played by our tour security director.

Looking forward to seeing the new movie! Excellent!
