I discovered Daniele Valeriani's work a year ago. A talented artist :

Revisiting this morning a book published in 1982 by a French Rock magazine which made an inventory of the Hard Rock of the time. I wanted to share these two pages with you, those  photos are so representative of what these two legendary bands were.

And I had an "encyclopedia of rock" from 1983 that focused on the 70s predominantly and tried to predict which bands that were hot then would carry on as major influences for the rest of the decade. It was so easy to agree 100% with them in the weeks and months after it was written, but within a year, the hype for a bunch of their predictions was already down the tubes.

The worlds highest Ferris wheel has just been opened in Dubai. 820ft (250m) high....




And a ride in it costs only 130 dirhams which is about 35$ (or 30€)! Pretty cheap I'd say...and the ride last over 30 minutes! Not sure I'd have the nerve to go though...





Makes those 20 story hotels looks pretty small in the background...

I saw this on Facebook and I have to say this guy Beto Ferris shows some great talent.

Usually I don't really care about fan art but this one is really really good and I have to honestly say it is better than the original art which is bit too cartoonish for my liking.




This captures the essence of the original art but with subtle yet important changes...

That is actually pretty good - an I agree with you that the original has a cartoonish feel to it; a cartoon cover for cartoon music? Maybe a cover with a dash of seriousness to it would have better highlighted some of the serious topics in the songs they released. Or not Regardless, that is some fine fan art!

Yep that artwork is terrific. Tony needs to see this and consider it for the new remix. Remix the the music and remix the artwork. Not sure how that would work with copyright and the original artist though.

Tony Martin already sent this up the ladder! But yeah I see very little chance of them changing the artwork...
