Just started watching James May - Our Man In Japan (finally) and honestly couldn't stop so I binged 3 episodes in a row! That was fantastic! Can't wait to dive into the final 3!

Hey Bim, guess what?

Well just finished the first season of Clarkson's Farm and it was brilliant.

More than happy now to wait for season 2.

Started back on this series on Netflix. I love the deadpan humor and the twisted political-historical references. The more you know about the history of the period, the funnier the jokes.

Been watching the brand new documentary called 9//11 Day In America from Nat Geo and it's pretty awesome...pretty gut wrenching and extremely sad at times but it also shows the heroism normal people are capable when faced with extreme evil.

It is a true tear jerker though. And it's not an easy watch by any means. But well worth it. Features a lot of unseen footage as well from the day shot by news crews, FDNY, NYPD and by standers as well as survivors. Some of the footage is quite powerful stuff...and you can feel and sense the overwhelming panic and sadness and disbelief of people there.

Think it's 6 epsiodes in total. I'm about to watch episode 4 now.

Only Murders in the Building - very funny murder-mystery comedy with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez in the lead roles. Some great cameos and character actors flesh out the series. It is on Hulu.

I just found a very interesting Sci-Fi show from Amazon Prime called The Expanse.

It takes place in the 23rd century in our solar system where Earth and Mars are in a cold war that could errupt at any moment. The main events take place in Ceres in a mining colony with hopes of their own independence from the rule of Earth. Now a mysterius party wants to start the war between Earth and Mars and everything seems to connect one way or another to Ceres.

The plot is quite multi dimensional and there are a bunch of main characters but the two main leads are Thomas Jane (who plays a private police detective on Ceres investigating a missing persons case that seems to connect deeper into the plot) and Steven Strait (who plays a crew member that survives an attack on an ice carrying vessel that is also connected somehow to the plot to start the war). Both are great in their roles.

The visuals are also rather brilliant and the physics are actually pretty accurate although that's not all that important to a sci-fi show anyways as it can quite often take away from the action and the story.

There is a strong Battlestar Galactica vibe to this in both the political storylines and to the visual effects and camera runs and zooms. But it is original enough to stand on it's own.

From what I've read lots of people were calling this the "greatest sci-fi show of all time" and non sense like that...well...no that is is NOT but it's a very enjoyable show and after 5 episodes I have to say I'll be watching the whole series now.

If there is one bigger negativity about the show it's the lack of humor. It is bit heavy at times and the plot can be bit hard to follow...little moments of humor would have helped to balance it out a bit. But all in all a very very interesting show. I'd highly recommend this to all sci-fi fans.

I'm watching KC do a number on Dallas right now. I expect Vyn is smiling as I type this.

...and I Finished with the final season of Bosch. The ending was a bit of a letdown to be honest...felt very rushed and bit underwhelming...but it did leave the door open for a possible spin off...so here's hoping for that.

One of the best continuous plot cop shows ever...right up there with The Wire I'd say.

Jones v Walker in Canadian Curling Trials Draw 5. Walker beat Jones twice in the Scotties earlier this year, might just beat her a third time in this event.

Anyone else watch the premiere of “The Book Of Boba Fett?” Without giving away any spoilers I thought it was just ok. Great visually but I found it a little slow and the acting and dialogue a bit wooden. I know it’s only the first episode and they had to set the story up but hopefully it only improves from here.

So it's not as good as The Mandalorian then.

I intend to watch it but I've got a bunch of other stuff I want to get through first.
