Commiserations on the Rugby WC loss kilo. Really thought you guys would win it after knocking out tournament favourites NZ. SA was just way too good though.

South Africa were never going to be a push over, but England didn't show up so there was no contest. I think they left a lot on the pitch in the Semi final against New Zealand and couldn't raise their game again. But coming into the tournament England would have been delighted with a final spot...

I didn't see it but I've heard it was really bad, have they said how bad the injury is?

I feel bad for Son Heung-min he's not a dirty player and was devasted by the incident.

Yeah he definitely ain't that sort of player and looked visibly distressed by it.

Don't know the full extent of the injury but it looks a bad one and season ending, could even be career threatening.

They said last night he suffered a dislocated and fractured ankle, he's going into surgery today, so no we won't see him for some time.

The pundits on Match of the Day last night were saying Son should only have got a yellow card not a red card, because it wasn't the tackle that directly caused the injury. In the heat of the moment I can understand the referee's decision, and Son would have been in no state to continue anyway.

Son Heung-min had his red card overturned for the tackle, which many think is the right decision.

Well that's good news for him and Spurs. They need all the help they can get at the moment. Not sure what's going on at Spurs this season but the way they're going they won't get through the group stage of the Champions league and will miss top 4 in the EPL to qualify for next year.

Seems former NFL punter and podcaster Pat McAfee has taken a real liking to our game of Aussie Rules football(AFL)

As of last weekend AFL was one of the only sports continuing on in the world amid the coronvirus pandemic, but unfortunately it was shut down after week 1 with States closing their borders making it impossible for the competition continue on and hence missing an opportunity for the rest of the world to get to know our great game.

It's loads of fun, one just needs practice in learning how to read the scores. :)

It's loads of fun, one just needs practice in learning how to read the scores. :)

So basically, the two middle posts(the taller posts) are the goal posts. If the ball is kicked between those 2 posts it’s a goal which is worth 6 points. If the ball goes either side of the two middle posts inside the outer smaller point posts it’s worth 1 point. If the ball hits the either of the two middle posts or is touched of hands over the goal line it’s also worth 1 point.

So the scores column read - goals - points - total

9. 7. 61  is 9 goals = 54 + 7 = 61

And it's an oval field, as I recall.

Yes up to 200 yards long and 170 yards wide. There is no standard size though like other sports fields

Well, in other news, no Olympics this year.

Unless a bunch of YouTubers try the 100m Dash Challenge...

^^^Took them awhile to reach that decision too. They were never going to go ahead this year. It’s only when countries started pulling out.
