Gonna be a disappointing total for the Aussies after such great start. Anything short of 300 probably won't be enough.

I'll be honest I was fearing 350+ at one point. But as long your bowlers have a respectable total to defend you've got a chance.

Yeah they'll have to get the ball in the right area's and not let any of the English batsman settle in. England will try and see off Cummins and Starc and launch against our first change bowlers.

England looking shaky against the swinging ball. Handy having Cummins as our first change bowler  :whistling:

Yep. England are under real pressure now to make it through to the last 4. They've got the Bangers , SL and the Paki's breathing down their necks with still India and NZ to play.

Meanwhile the Aussies have already made it through to the last 4 with 2 games up their skeeves  :partay:

Moment of truth for your cricket team today Kilo. Lose to India and it could be curtains.

I'm so confident we'll win I'm going out for the day and won't see any updates until I get home this evening... or maybe I just want one big dissapointment this evening rather than 6 hours of gradually growing dissapointment!

I actually think you'll get through by beating NZ and Pakistan fucking up their last game

If we play like we can and not like we played in the last two games I think we should go through. Dropping Vince and bringing back a 90% fit Roy will bolster the top order.

Looks a good batting wicket so youll have to post a big total. Kohli holds the key though. He's an out and out match winner and could be the wrecker. It will certainly make for a dramatic finish to the qualifying games if England was to go down today  :drama:

Literally just got home and I didn't know the result! Mightily relieved that England won, progress is still in our own hands. Hopefully we can beat New Zealand in the last group game so we don't get Australia in the Semi!

Was a strong performance from England. I didn't get to watch the Indians bat but England must've bowled well in the first 15-20 overs. I had trouble sleeping last night so was checking the scores intermittently on my iPad and Sharma & Kohli were going at under 3 runs an over in the first 15 overs.

I think England will likely beat NZ now given NZ has pretty much made it through on superior NRR over the Paki's and the bangers.
