4 Celsius today and cloudy. It has been very cold these last few weeks sometimes going below freezing and actually snowing for a day, but nothing stuck around.

It's so cold here in Texas, we're actually getting cold water when we turn on the cold water tap.

We've had out first sub-zero nights this week. Daytime are mainly around 2-6C with some snow in Scotland and maybe northern England.

High yesterday was 25C, but we're moving into cooler, wetter weather starting tonight.

No no I am not.

Aaaaaand on that note there's a blizzard heading this way for the evening/night. Big winds 4 to 6 inches of snow...means big drifts...and temp is already at -9C (16F) and going down...

Goddamnit!

Oh man that is rough stuff. It is a grey, chilly day here in Dallas, but above freezing and no snow in the forecast, and I'm very thankful for that.

Having some heavy weather in DFW today, looks like the worst storm cells will pass north of me. Sky is the wrong color for gentle rain, it's kind of an electric orange-gray...

While it has been cold down the southern end of the UK - probably -5C over night, maybe 2-3C at the moment - it's nothing like the lows at Braemar in Scotland... -17C on Sunday night and didn't get warmer than -9.3C during the day on Monday. That's the coldest day time temp anywhere in the UK since 2010. Monday night was supposed to be colder still.

Yes, I realise Charger experiences worse.

One of those days where I keep the weather on as I work... there's some potential tornado formation right over DFW airport - very glad I'm not traveling today!

Very heavy downpours on on Fort Worth, which is about 60 miles west of me, looks like it will be on top of me in about an hour or so. Edge of the rain should be here in half an hour or less.

Quite a night...

Luckily we only ended up getting around 4 inches of fresh now, but with the wind there was quite a lot of drifts everywhere. Luckily didn't get stuck but it took me over an hour longer (and had to leave some people out) to finish my route.

Drove straight into a 20 inch drift once that I didn't even see luckily I just about got through without getting stuck.

The storm front has passed over, now clear and cooler behind it.

Still cold, sunny days barely more than 1-2C, nights are down to -6/-7C. But no snow where we are but sometimes a heavy frost in the morning can almost look like snow. But all change Sunday when a warm front comes in from the SW, by Monday we could be as high as 13C! And it should stay in double figures for the rest of the week.

We had -19C yesterday but luckily things are looking better as next week we should get above 0 again and some rain! Which is nice! Time to get rid of this white shit.
