I ended up cancelling my order. The store I preordered my purple vinyl from took it off their page and placed it on back order even though it was a preorder. They couldn’t give me a timeline when they would get it or if they would be able to at all. In the meantime I listened to the album on YouTube and was more than content I cancelled it. Was not feeling it at all unfortunately

Let me know what you think Thel. Musically I think it’s their best but is letdown by the lyrics. Some of them are just bad.

Well that's unfortunate. It sucks when that happens...I remember the same thing happening to me few years ago with an album I preordered...after that I only do preorders from bands own stores.

I've listened it through a few times and on some tracks Zakk and the boys do a great job but Warning isn't very good...Zakk's soloing there isn't quite as good as it should be. He should have either copied Tony's solo to a tee or gone completely off the book and done his own...now he just kind of can't decide between the two options...not impressed by that.

The Wizard and Behind The Wall Of Sleep/NIB are the highlights for sure.

I have listened to it a few times now and I must say that it is interesting to say the least. I still like their debut the best but this is pretty damn good musically.

Got this originally on CD when it came out but they just released it on vinyl for the first time for RSD so bought a copy today. Should arrive tis week.

^^Doesn't seem like the “Legacy of the Beast” tour is going to get a bluray release which is a shame as it was one of Maiden’s greatest ever productions.
