Funny as I wrote this the mailman knocked on my door and delivered my package, with no prior text updates from the USPS that it was our for delivery, guess I’ll have some listening to do Captain, which will be the most logical thing to do. V live long and prosper.🖖

William Shatner doesn;t have a great reputation when it comes to singing... but it could have be good for novelty value.
He doesn’t have a great reputation with fan interaction either.

Bill's made his stance very clear and real fans appreciate it. And frankly I understand it completely. There are places where you can have meet and greets...you don't need to go bother the man when he's having lunch or at the airport or where ever.
Unless you pay for the privilege of getting his signature or a photo at a convention he ain’t interested. Even at conventions they say he can be rude and abrupt and not engaging towards fans. Plenty of celebrities or high profile people get approached out in public. It’s all part and parcel of it. He’s had a a poor reputation for years.

Yeah but he has all the right in the world to have his private life private.

Bill is a bit of a germophobe so he doesn't like people touching him too much. But he always poses for picks for the fans that have paid for it.

Like I said, true fans understand Bill....and haters will hate regardless of what he does.

Here's a great piece Bill wrote about this two years ago:
https://medium.com/@WilliamShatner/to-sign-or-not-to-sign-the-veruca-salt-syndrome-b47d21561505
lol. The fact he felt he had to write an essay about it justifying his wretched behaviour sums him up. What a wanker!

Like I said....haters will hate no matter what he does.

Atleast he's not like a certain shithead who wishes death for 50% of American people and the President...

I don’t hate him. I just think he’s a turd and a wanker!  ;)

And I don’t get caught up in politics, especially from a country that’s not my own  :)

Well it has very little to do with politics and all about what a disgusting human DeNiro is but been there done that...also this has nothing to do with the topic so time to move on and put an end to this.

I really like Shatner and I will always love Captain Kirk, who to me is the greatest fictional character of all time.
That being said I can see why some might think that he is rude to fans. I do however know someone who met him in Montreal many years ago and according to my friend he was very polite and said hello back to him. He then said to Shatner that he was the greatest captain of Star Trek and he did say thank you in reply. He did not stop though and walked away quickly.

Not sure why you felt the need to bring De Niro into it, except “if you’re gonna say bad things about someone I admire, then I’m gonna say bad things about someone you admire” lol

I need to listen to that Bloody Hammer stuff more...seems like a band I'd enjoy.

And it is indeed time to get this thread back on track after the derailment by hate.

I got some DOOOOM featuring the incredible vocal talents of mr. ROBERT LOWE:

Bloody Hammers are great, buying more of there stuff, I had to create an account in  Bandcamp, which I’m not understanding too much about.

@Z you’re on Bandcamp right, maybe you can help me out?

I don't think you need to register to bandcamp... I'm not registered and I listen to stuff from there all the time...and have bought albums through there as well.

I didn’t know that Charger, I bought two of their albums, the rest are sold out. I emailed them, the  Bloody Hammers, but I don’t think they’ll answer me back.
