Just got this in the Deluxe Edition for three bucks  :excited:

Somebody would have to pay ME a hell of a lot more than 3 bucks to listen to U2! :D

I do like the song Vertigo.  8)

I love the first three U2 albums and I also really like Achtung Baby. I am not interested in Bono's politics but I am a fan of the band for the most part. The Edge does some wild things with his guitar, truly an underrated axe man.

Bono aside I've always found U2 to be bit too tame...that kind of radio friendly pop rock that is dime a dozen...never really got how in the heck they got to be so big...But hey maybe that's just me! ;D

Just had a Bandcamp haul... Ignu has a new album out that is worth checking out. Also had fun with a group called Hanford Flyover - very soft folk/prog band with female vocals, stunning stuff if you're ready for a quiet moment or two. Also got releases from Emperor Guillotine (fun instrumental doom, this time with an Elric theme), La Iglesia Atomica (really well-done stoner/space jamming, always top stuff from them), a band called Z-28, and those bad boys from Brazil, Mad Monkees with their new EP, Guerra.

I really REALLY enjoyed Chris Joss' new release Volume 11, which has some great 60s-70s action/spy-themed instrumental music. He makes music to play in the background while you create an elaborate scheme, complete with a film montage of superimposed rectangles showing different stages of the preparations...

Looking forward to Valley of the Sun, which releases a new album on May 2.

 ???  Who?

54-40 is a Canadian alternative rock group from Tsawwassen, British Columbia. The band take their name from the slogan "54-40 or Fight!", coined to express the unsuccessful expansionist agenda of James K. Polk's presidency, intent upon controlling a contested U.S.-Canada border area in the Oregon boundary dispute.
