Still quite hot, but it's cooling by degrees.

We're back to no rain and 100F+ temperatures in North Texas.

Last several days highs were in the 70s, but today, back in the 80s.   :partay:

LOTS of rain today with cooler temps, and I think Vyn up in KC is getting the same weather system I'm getting, if with slightly less rainfall.

Yep. low 70's F for highs, scattered rain. No storms or anything heavy.

We have our first named storm of the season coming in Thursday night and into Friday. It's named Austin... as such I blame it on Zs!

Windy but rather warm for the season...

+10C (50F) bit of rain but nothing too bad.

My kind of autumn weather!

Nice and clear, wonderful temperatures...

My forecast for today is a Bill Withers song...

78F, a windswept sky, change blowing in for tomorrow all the way through the weekend. Luna the iggy (thinks she) has the best stick ever found by a dog, rolling around on the grass in dog bliss. And I'm four minutes away from playing The Doobie Brothers's 1973 album, The Captain and Me.

And Bill Withers could sing.

And so it begins...

We had the first frosty night last night...

Temp went as low as -4C (25F)...

Winter is coming...

And thanks to El Nino we're expected to be having a colder than usual winter...we shall see... NOT looking forward to that shit.

I keep hearing we are supposedly going to have a very bad winter as well. I remain unconvinced, more out of habituation to the last several years of very little precipitation. Sure, we had short stretches of very cold temperatures, but more than a couple of inches of snow? Nope. Haven't seen the big snow in years.

Today, and the rest of the week for that matter, highs in the mid fifties F, light wind, misty. That used to be October weather.
