NFL 2025-6 Season
« on: September 29, 2025, 02:28:21 PM »
Week 4 was a wild mess of upsets and upsetting things. While KC got itself together and made its way to a second win for the season, both Green Bay and Dallas left us scratching heads with a 40-40 tie. Defense is an issue now on both of those teams...

A rather lackluster start to the season, overall. A few pockets of anticipated excitement have yet to materialize. As far as KC goes, this is no doubt the last season for Kelce but it looks like they have talent in the wings to fill that gap, which is getting smaller every year despite Kelce's notable talent.

I think Mahomes spoiled us KC fans the first few seasons. It was like he came out as a mix of Theisman, Dorsette, and Alzado all in one. And these past few seasons the team has been trying to mold him into a more sophisticated, mature player.

Colts have had a good start, they may wind up being the one good team in AFC South. As for the other divisions, the usual contenders are contending. Bit of a slip with Chargers getting ahead of KC, but there are still many games to go.

Bottom feeders of the AFC are a list with no surprises: Jets, Titans, Raiders, Browns. Dolphins and Texans close to that mix also not a surprise. Ravens going 1-3 *is* a surprise, I'll allow that.

In the NFC, Giants, Saints, and Panthers are woeful, as per. Cowboys are 1-2-1 because the world is in commotion and they somehow played to tie the Packers. I expect future weeks to add more Ls to the Cowboys' tally, they finish low in the rankings. Commanders had a loss to the Falcons, and they need to look inside for answers. Barring the Eagles, it's the NFC Least this year. NFC West has some strong teams in it, expect one of them to challenge the Eagles for the conference championship. Lions could also do it - would love to see them break their drought. Aside from the Panthers winning a game, no real surprises in the NFC.
