Metallica played Hole in the Sky at Sabbaths RRHOF induction so not surprised by that but was thinking they might've played something else as HITS or Sabbra Cadabra/A National Acrobat might’ve been too obvious. Am hoping Jake at least gets to jam one song with Ozzy but am thinking he might be more part of a supergroup performing several songs.

Hi Jack, hope you're keeping well.

I always had a feeling it would be a celebration of Sabbath, with the bonus that the original 4 would perform together one last time. I've been hearing it'll be 5 songs, but I'm not sure where I heard that and may not have been an official source. I suspect that might have been someone being optimistic.

In the UK the show's had more tv/press coverage than the Oasis reunion tour which starts tonight!
Thanks Kilo, been well, hope you have been as well. Tony has confirmed they’ll be performing 4 songs. The obvious ones would be War Pigs, Black Sabbath, Iron Man and Paranoid.

Honestly, Sabbath playing those four is essentially an encore of encores. If they're only going to play four, play *those*. The other bands in the festival are covering the deep cuts, so let the lads in Sabbath play the signature songs that paid the bills and then some, year in and year out. It just makes good sense to go out with what brought them in.

Set times:

Looks like most bands only get 10-20 minutes which means they'll probably do 2 to 3 songs tops...

I wonder will they do original songs too or only Sabbath tunes? I think it would have to be like 2 original songs and a sabbath tune or something along those lines.

How I would love if someone broke the script and would do a Ronnie or Tony Martin era track! $haron's head would probably explode and earth would be populated by demons after that!

Jake confirmed on his socials this evening that he’ll be performing The Ultimate Sin
and Shot in the Dark in a supergroup. He did mention a few weeks back that Bark at the Moon might be too challenging for him to play these days with his hand issues and he’d see how he went with it in rehearsals. Unfortunately it seems it didn’t make the cut, unless he’s going to perform it with Ozzy.

Mastodon played SUPERNAUT
Anthrax played INTO THE VOID
Halestorm played PERRY MASON now that's a curve!
Lamb Of God played CHILDREN OF THE GRAVE
Alice In Chains played FAIRIES WEAR BOOTS

Supergroup A was:

The Ultimate Sin
(Ozzy Osbourne cover) (with Lzzy Hale) (Jake E Lee, Nuno Bettencourt, David Ellefson, Mike Bordin, Adam Wakeman)

Sweet Leaf
(Black Sabbath cover) (with David Draiman) (Scott Ian, Nuno Bettencourt, David Ellefson, Mike Bordin, Adam Wakeman)

Believer
(Ozzy Osbourne cover) (Scott Ian, Nuno Bettencourt, David Ellefson, Mike Bordin, Adam Wakeman)

Mr. Crowley
(Ozzy Osbourne song) (Video tape of Jack Black singing with young musicians)

Changes
(Black Sabbath cover) (with YUNGBLUD) (Scott Ian, Nuno Bettencourt, David Ellefson, Mike Bordin, Adam Wakeman)

Shot in The Dark
(Ozzy Osbourne cover) (with David Draiman) (Jake E. Lee, David Ellefson, Mike Bordin and Adam Wakeman)

Gojira played UNDER THE SUN

The Drum Off (What ever the hell that means) was SYMPTOM OF THE UNIVERSE
(Tom Morello, Nuno Bettencourt, Rudy Sarzo, Travis Barker, Chad Smith, Danny Carey)

SUPERGROUP B (Featuring the one and only KK DOWNING! and Steven Tyler, Billy Corgan, Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Travis Parker, Tom Morello and others)

Breaking The Law
Snowblind
Flying High Again
Rock Candy (Montrose Cover)
Bark At The Moon
Train Kept A Rolling (Aerosmith Cover)
Walk This Way / Whole Lotta Love (Aerosmith/Zepp cover)

Pantera played PLANET CARAVAN and ELECTRIC FUNERAL

TOOL played HAND OF DOOM

Slayer played WICKED WORLD!!!!!

Guns And Roses played NEVER SAY DIE, IT'S ALRIGHT, JUNIOR's EYES and SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH

Metallica played HOLE IN THE SKY and JOHNNY BLADE

OZZY:

I Don't Know
Mr. Crowley
Suicide Solution
Mama I'm Coming Home
Crazy Train

SABBATH played....drum roll.... :drummer: ...SHOCKER REVEAL!

Black Sabbath Intro
War Pigs
N.I.B.
Iron Man
Paranoid

So no surprises there!

So overall not that many deep cuts being played other than GnR and Metallica doing Johnny Blade...oh and Slayer doing Wicked World which I would have never ever guessed as it's the most NOT Slayer style song I could imagine! Can't wait to hear how they made that one work!

One really sad thing I did hear was that David Draiman was booed by some anti-semitic assholes in the crowd...That made me both sad and angry to say the least...I thought Sabbath fans would be above that kind of bullshit but obviously not. And comments on the facebook was pretty disgusting as well but that's no surprise... anti-semitism runs wild over there as everywhere else in social media.

Freaking awesome opening for the Sabs. At first I thought they were going to play Black Sabbath but they cranked out War Pigs. All good, and was great to see Bill Ward behind the kit.

Sabbath did NIB, not the eponymous song.

A lot of the stream was very cool.

Good to see you Jack and Typhon! I was so stoked to watch the original Sabbath boys playing in their hometown I forgot to acknowledge the return of two forum stalwarts!

Oh yes, seemed that the first setlist posted was bit off in both order and songs. Strangely it does seem that N.I.B was played and not Black Sabbath which to me is bit odd.

Thanks for that Scott! Good to hear from you as well!
