True or False Ozzy Story

I ran across this tidbit concerning Ozzy. I have never heard of such a thing, of course no way to tell if it's true or not, maybe somebody knows?

Seems plausible, but also seems made-up.

In the documentary about how Dana Strum introduced Ozzy to Randy Rhoads, he mentions Ozzy pissing himself, and that was back around 40 years ago.

I know that nerve damage can lead to incontinence - personal experience here, unfortunately - and that exertion can exacerbate the situation below the equator. As for hosing down... well, let's just say that I really enjoy having a bidet installed in my home toilets.

Based on the above, I'd say it's plausible that a man Ozzy's age with a history of both substance abuse and back injuries with consequent considerations for the nerves would have a need for some kind of incontinence solution and may have opted out of using protective undergarments as such a solution.

That all makes sense. I think the "hosing down" part throws me a bit - with everything that is available to handle that type of thing, and the fact he wasn't/isn't a broke hermit with no friends, I can't understand why he wouldn't take advantage of those things rather than just sprayed off with a hose like a dog lol.

Of course, I'm not an internationally recognized celebrity who has sold millions of records, solo and as part of a band that basically defined an entire genre of music and whose output is influential to this day. Once I manage to accomplish all of that, maybe I'll have an easier time understanding his thinking

Could be that he had some protection, but diapers being what they are, some cleansing is needed before retiring for the evening. "Hosing down" might be a stronger term for an orderly doing a routine elder-care style cleanup on the back aisle.
