I think I'll renew my Amazon Prime for next month because of this!

It may have to be through an interpreter! I should have an advantage being familiar with the various dialects in this country, but even I struggle to recognise more than the occasional word.

I started watching some just before a meeting at work, only 9 and a half minutes in and I'm wholly invested in the harvest drama he's got going on. I'll have to save it for later for The Missus and me to watch.

Aside from the Lambo tractor stunt and some faffing about in the first few episodes, Clarkson's gotten serious about farming and really does show a way of living that's typically romanticized or ignored. I learn quite a lot from watching him go through all the regulations and stresses.

Finished season 2, glad there's a season 3 confirmed, and hoping that Amazon at least finishes that off before finalizing cut ties with Clarkson.

Reading up on the impact of the series' depiction of the running battle between Clarkson and the council, many farmers in the UK are echoing that Clarkson's not alone in getting targeted or denied permission for things that shouldn't even need permission. And it's not a liberal vs. conservative argument, either, in that policies from both parties produced situations that place farmers under duress. The discussion needs to be that if we want to eat food that is not controlled by a massive corporation, we need to change many things about how agriculture is regulated.

Watched the all of series 2 over a weekend a couple of weeks ago. Really enjoyed it. Gives you a great insight into proper farming life and all the obstacles they face on a daily basis but in a jocular way.

Such a great series, I really hope Clarkson can keep his foot out of his mouth enough for there to be additional serieses.

Well Clarkson has a habit of speaking his mind and he (unlike so many in the public eye) doesn't give a rats ass about some idiotic "political correctness" which is really refreshing in this overly censored world we are forced to live....especially since it all comes from humor anyways...but people just are too damn sensitive and lacking any common sense these days...

Well finally finished!

And I am truly shocked that Brits in small villages are that much like Finns in terms of being a bunch of utter jealous twats!

I am glad Jeremy found his loop hole and got his restaurant going despite the village council being a bunch of wankers.

The show was wonderful and I am glad they showed all of the utter nonsense. And one can hope that this series has led to farmers getting more and more support from the people...as god knows they need it.

Here things are about just as bad in the farming world and people are still very jealous of farmers thinking they make a ton of money by doing nothing. We need more shows like this and people like Clarkson to spread the message around.

Indeed. Farming for non-corporate family farms is anything BUT easy money!

This is a fact. My wife's aunt & uncle (and now their son) run a farm. Been in their family for decades, about 600 acres. Mostly corn and soybeans. Also some Cows, goats, chickens. They work their collective ass off, and they are not flush with cash.

And, I guess I'm going to have to watch this show, you all have peer-pressured me into it haha!
