Haha, thanks Jack. There's talk of Andy Reid retiring, I can't imagine that, but he's 64 so who knows. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Can’t see why Reid would retire. He’s in charge of a dynasty team. They have at the least another two in them as long as Mahomes stays sound.

Depends on how rough travel and other factors are on him. Stuff that makes him ask, "Why am I still doing this???" When it outweighs the wins and good times and "THIS is why I'm doing this!!!" moments, he'll retire.

Like if the KC owners went insane and swapped the entire roster for Egyptian cotton and Jon Voight starts selling shares in The Syndicate to anyone and everyone in the stadium, I could see Reid bowing out. Not a likely scenario, I admit.

That's kinda what I figure too. It isn't everyday you hit upon the magic formula, and it would have to be some serious discomfiture to make Andy decide to walk away from that right now. There's a lot to be said about leaving on top, but like Jack mentioned, I think they've got more seasons like this previous season ahead of them. The players are young and although anything can happen, this wasn't a fluke. Ever since Mahomes came on board they: make the playoffs ever year, won three times, and now have two SB wins. That's some dynasty shit right there.

I've been a fan of the Chiefs since they moved here from Texas. Although I don't remember that, I don't think I could really even talk much when that happened lol But I recall the mid-seventies on they sucked. Consistently, for years. They'd have some seasons where they'd make the playoffs, but it was just a fluke. The best thing they've done as a franchise is getting Reid on board, and letting him pick his own QB. One of the selling points of Andy when they announced him as the HC was that he "has an eye for quarterbacks".

He did not disappoint lol.

So, for as long as this team can roll down the winning path, I'm all about it, because I know what thirty years of being second class, or worse, is like.

Indeed, they were lost in the murk for the longest time. They were starting to make some headway before Mahomes came on board, but that's what they needed for their breakthrough.

Doesn't hurt that Brady isn't playing anymore...
