I too was not a big fan of the genre but she sure was one of a kind.

RIP Dolly. First heard about her as part of a duo featuring Porter Wagoner. Wasn't a fan of her music, but she was one hell of a solid human being.

He was a great actor. Don't think he did a lot of leads but his supporting characters tended to be memorable...bit quirky all of them.

He had a stroke some 15 or so years ago if memory serves me right...wheelchair bound ever since.

I remember L7, didn't' know much about them though, and knew nothing of their bassist's issues. That sucks, RIP Jennifer.

Ya know, I don't feel old at all. Until I attempt to do things I used to do and then feel like the tin man from the wizard of oz. However, seeing some of my friends pass away, along with celebrities pass away who are among the same age group, does bring it on home to me. I recently renewed by driver's license. The cop behind the counter happened to be someone  I went to high school with. We caught up, and turns out quite a few folks from then are gone now.
