RIP Bonnie - at one time, her music was on constant rotation just about anywhere a person would go.

It finally happened - Randolph Mantooth has left the building. He played paramedic John Gage on the groundbreaking NBC series Emergency! from 1972 to 1979, died July 9, 2026, in Ventura, California. He was 80.

That was one of my favorite shows back in the day.

Just seen that about Sam Neill, a very good actor, he always seemed like a class act. RIP

I figured Randolph woudn't get the same recognition as Mr. Sam Neill, but for a time he was a huge TV star. Never could really translate that into big screen success.

I was actually surprised about Sam Neill - don't know why, no reason other than he always struck me as someone that would be around forever.

Lindsey Graham died, too. They say those things happen in threes - and we got all three, right on top of each other! Conspiracy stories about Graham's passing are already making the rounds. Vladimir Putin collaborating with Hillary Clinton to have him assassinated is the most ridiculous bullshit I've heard so far. Especially when it is obvious to anyone who isn't a dumbass that it was Putin collaborating with Greta Thunberg that took out Randolph Mantooth.

Sorry to hear of the deaths of Sam Neill and Lindsey Graham.  Senator Graham was only 71.

Sen. Graham was very sudden, that's always a difficult thing for loved ones to handle.

In the interests of equal time, Sen. Mitch McConnell *isn't* dead, he just had a rough patch of days there. Not making light of anything - I'm glad for any person who comes through an illness after an injury, just as I'll take a moment for any person who passed away for reflection and thought.

I don't yet have one foot in the grave, but I can see the cemetery from where I am, so I read these kinds of stories through that filter.

Vincent Pastore died at the age of 80.
I really enjoyed his work in the Sopranos, as well as the few movies he did like Carlito's Way.

Yes I heard about that too...

He was great in the Sopranos. He was kind of the embodiment of a gangster figure.

News said that he'd been dead alone in his appartment for few days...that's sad.
