Saddened to hear about the passing of guitarist ROSS THE BOSS!

He was battling ALS and passed away at the age of 72.

I personally was never a big MANOWAR fan but I did know of him and he sure had a big influence on Power Metal.

March 25th Mr. Dash Crofts died at the age of 87. Mr. Seals beat him to the punch by dying four years ago, and so now Seals and Crofts will not be passing this way again.

I did not like their music when it was contemporaneous. They had hit song after hit song for a while so turning on the radio you had a 40% chance something they wrote would be on the air. As I got older I came to appreciate what they were trying to accomplish, and respect them for being top-notch musicians and people. I still won't buy their records, though :)

RIP Mr Crofts

I was aware he had passed because I watch the weekly "Legacy" youtube channel covering deaths in the news.

I think outside the US they are better known for songs covered by other artists, The Isley Brothers had a big hit with Summer Breeze in the UK.

Was not a fan of their music either, but this one I didn't mind.

My dad liked Seals and Crofts and I have their Greatest Hits album from the late 70s
Definitely a talented pair but not really something I listen to often.

That's the one I like the most, great track.
