Legendary composer LALO SCHIFRIN has passed away at 93!

He was featured on our best tv themes thread by me!

Some of his iconic scores include Mission Impossible, Dirty Harry, Bullit, Amityville Horror and even Rush Hour!

Actor Michael Madsen passed away yesterday from a sudden heart attack. He was only 67 years old.

He was a great bad guy actor. He had such a great presense and charisma.


Also Portugese footsy player DIOGO JOTA and his brother died in a car accident in spain.

Jota played in Liverpool and he was just 28 years old...and he just got married and already had 3 kids.

It seems that he was overtaking a car on the freeway with his Lamborghini with considerable speed and suffered a tyre puncture and off he went. Died on the scene before rescuers even got there.

Very sad.

Reservoir Dogs and Species were just 2 of the many films I enjoyed watching him in.

Extremely saddened to hear about the passing of the legendary composer MARK SNOW!

His themes to The X Files and MILLENNIUM are just beyond iconic.


He was 78 years old.

What timing for that farewell concert. Holy smokes, it's hard to believe.

He was part of what shaped my up & coming years in the 70s and beyond, becoming an icon in his own right.

This shouldn't be suprising to me, but it is. RIP

Just listening to some Sabbath now. It's a part of my life taken away, more so than when Ronnie or indeed anyone else has died.

I was in the pub earlier when someone mentioned it, I didn't have internet access so couldn't post earlier... devastated.:(
