Three Pictures
« on: December 31, 2021, 10:28:41 AM »
While I was getting the picture together for the "All Things Vinyl" thread, I came across three that I figured I'd share.

This is a picture I took driving to work one morning. The moon was out big and bright. The picture in no way does justice to how awesome it looked, but I think it's kind of interesting the way the iphone camera grabbed the shot as I was heading due west on 92 highway at about 60 miles per hour.

The next two are, obviously, pistols. I don't think I've ever posted any on this forum. Whereas in my side hustle I buy and sell any kind of firearm (I also have a SOT so I can deal in machine guns, silencers, etc), I specialize in 1911 platform pistols. These two came in recently, from two different manufacturers.

This is a "Commander" size 1911 in .45 called the Agent 2. It's made by a company called Nighthawk Custom:

This one is a full-size 1911, also chambered for .45 ACP ammunition, called the Prime. It's made by a company called Alchemy Custom Weaponry:

I love the Nighthawk! That's the kind of pistol I'd love to own myself.

The moonshot is great too. Is that an Audi you're driving? Surely not... :D

I've found the basic 1911 bit boring but I love how so many customizations have been made over the years to make a rather boring looking gun bit special.

This is my handgun...it's a Glock 17 but with a twist. It's chambered to .22LR by a Florida company called John Arthur Ciener. It's supposedly rather rare.. Only few of them are registered in Finland...which was the main reason I bought it from a buddy of mine who was a weapons collector...he sadly has since passed away...and I've kept the piece and never plan on selling it either, he gave a good deal to me on it back in the day as well...he was a great guy and also a former UN piece keeper who got his training in Israel which made him a bit of a bad ass too. :) Ah good memories...haven't thought about him in a while...interesting how certain things trigger up memories not planned...

Any how....I never liked the 17 I always preferred the shorter 19 to be honest and if this would have just been your standard 9mm 17 I never would have bought it, but because it's a bit of a rarity and something special and since he thought of me right away when he got it and offered it to me first I couldn't really turn him down... It was also practically brand new when I got it from him...less than 50 shots fired...I think I've shot around 300-400 with it so it's still practically new.

Ps.
Sorry didn't mean to hijack your thread with my ramblings... :/

Me and my wife in a military history museum:

ME: Ooooh, wow, it's a PPSh-41!

MY WIFE: Crap, how did I wind up in a military history museum?

Hijack away! That Glock you have is pretty cool!

And yes, that would be an Audi I'm driving :)

We have some of the strictest gun laws in the world here but I’d still love to own a bunch.

The Nighthawk Custom and Alchemy Custom look sweet as Vyn
