Certainly hasn’t been many highlights in 2021 in terms of releases.

The albums I got I’d probably rank them in this order

Carcass - Torn Arteries
Accept - Too Mean To Die
BLS - Doom Crew Inc
Exodus - Persona Non Grata
Iron Maiden Senjutsu
U.D.O - Game Over
K.K’s Priest - Sermons of the Sinner

None of them were shit but are hit & miss and won’t likely be keepers except for Carcass who rarely ever disappoints.

Next year promises to be a better year me thinks

The Stranglers and Dead Daisies albums were great listens in the car on the drive back home, glad I got those.

Thanks, Community! :D

There’s some heavy numbers on it but also some lighter stuff too which I enjoy from Zakk. But in all honesty I could’ve ranked 2-7 in any old order, I just went off first impressions as none of them have really stuck or been revisited outside of listening to them for the first week or two I got them.

Bought a few albums last year, but my fav is Darkthrone - Eternal Hails......

Still need to get the new Carcass.

Most of what I bought this year was replacement CDs for those that I have heavily loved  :partay:

Candlemass have only hinted but it is possible.

Well now it's more than hinted. They've entered the studio to record new album today!

Well finally got the new DEVIL ELECTRIC album Godless and I have to say it is brilliant...

And is a very strong contender to be the #1 album of 2021. Brilliant 70s inspired doom metal!

Devil Electric has some awesome sound, no doubt. I'm also loving my Fever Dog "Alpha Waves" and plan to count it in for 2022, since it came out so late in 2021. :)

And again I realised I forgot an album from the best of list..

GRIEF COLLECTOR's En Delirium ofcourse! Duh...

Jumps straight to the top 3 that one...

So I guess the top three for last year would then be...

Grief Collector, Devil Electric and Vajra in some order or another...with Blaze and Alice trying to squeeze themselves in....

You ever get Turning to Crime? I'm giving it another play right now.

Haven't gotten to that yet. I spent quite a lot on albums this month...so next month perhaps. :)
