I'm having a pork's fillet steak with some self made salad including Egg, bell peppers, chilis, cucumber and tomatoes.
It ain't fancy but works for me...getting the protein and keeping the carbs low.

The baguettes made here honestly aren't all that good, some are better than others though, but I would LOVE to try out the real deal someday.

And I thank you.

Speaking of wieners, you can't beat a dirty water dog with everything from a NYC street vendor.

Meow-meow-meow! Which of you eats neeps, a beetroot, trigonella beans and clary sage?
-
I had Rústico Pizza today.
-
What is it?
-
It’s pizza with sun dried tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, black olives, onions and pepperoni.
-
Bell peppers, aubergines, corn, chinese leaves and tomatoes--are much more interesting.

Throw some anchovies on top and it’ll make even more interesting.

If you've ever got some money burning a hole in your pocket, Omaha has got the best meat I've ever tasted. Those filets just melt in your mouth. They ship them to you frozen in a big Styrofoam cooler with dry ice. They have specials all the time and package deals like 4 filets, 4 boneless pork chops, 6 burgers, etc. for a decent price. Expensive but for a special treat well worth it.
-
I know exactly the steaks you’re talking about Bogblast, a friend of mine use to get them, I know how they come packaged and all.

I remember Tony Bourdain always saying that the best part of a pig was it's cheeks...haven't tried them myself though..

Well as far as pigs are concerned could have easily been either ones I suppose...

Didn't Hannibal Lecter say something to a similar effect? ;D

Similar enough...

Tonight I will be having some linguini and white clam sauce and a sparkling white wine.

I thought people tasted more like chicken!
I had some pop corn with the movie. Can't have a movie without pop corn.

Regarding cheek meat:
Yes, it's the best. Down in Texas, we have cabeza tacos, which is meat from off the cow's skull. Amazing flavor. I've also had braised ox cheeks at Cafe Le Procope in Paris that were as amazing as I expected them to be.
-
Very cool!
Would like to try them one day...but I know I can't...but still.
