New Sky Valley Mistress EP - Acoustic versions

Man, these are amazing. Very emotional and raw and... wow... When they're electric, they are face ripping rockers. When they're acoustic, they're just as stormy, but sound more premeditated, like all the emotion in them is being carefully planned out, not an outburst.

I wish this was a full album, it's incredible stuff.

I'm honestly not a huge fan...I prefer the electric stuff for these guys.

Doing acoustic stuff isn't easy...some songs work also acoustically but some don't...The drive and energy and sparkle that Sky Valley Mistress has is bit lost with the acoustic stuff.

All's fair, for sure. And I'll agree that the energy is *totally* different on these tracks. It's like the electric ones are a soundtrack for a racecar driver trying to get through rush hour in a main battle tank... and these are for a tired veteran of the police force checking into a cheap motel the night before he plans to go off the rails as he settles an old score.
