A friend of ours had an excess of tomato production and brought in 3 boxes of the lovely fruits to church today. I have to travel this week and couldn't take much off her hands. She said, "That's all right, I will bring even more next week!"

I love summer for that most excellent of reasons.

Thanks for the good wishes, Typhon.

It's the "and enjoyable" part that I think this role will deliver on. My current position involves way too much sales for my liking. I enjoy demonstrating value and maintaining relationships, but do not like the parts about working with SalesForce and doing business projections. I'm much more technical, and the role I'm going to fits that bill. I've done it before, and I'm very happy to do it again.

Written offer got held up but arrived today. Signed it, sent in my resignation and now I have 2 more weeks where I'm at and start the new role on the 24th. 3 days of work and then Thanksgiving. Nice, easy start. :smug:

Just in time for Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday. :)

It's my favorite because I can make the days before and after it my own as I take inventory and give thanks for good times with good friends and good experiences that helped me through times that weren't good.

I consider the folks here on the Community to be good times with good friends.
