A tight-knit team of rising investigators, along with their supervisor, is suddenly torn apart when they discover that one of their own teenage daughters has been brutally murdered.  Fine performance by Roberts. 7/10

I always thought her brother was the better actor out of them both, like in the Pope of Greenwich Village with Micky Rourke.

I got to see Emma yesterday, the period rom com based on the book by Jane Austen. It stars one of my favourite rising actresses - Anya Taylor-Joy - in the title role and a mix of familiar faces (Bill Nighy, Miranda Hart) and new comers (at least to me) in supporting roles.

I wouldn't normally go for this sort of film but I am beginning to appreciate Jane Austin through the films of her books, a few years back found the film Love and Friendship starring Kate Beckinsale to be an eye opener but then again I've never much understood the appeal of Pride and Prejudice (even with added zombies!).

Emma feels she needs to control the love lives of those around her, and when her friend gets a letter requesting marriage Emma interferes. She finds it dificult ot fall in love herself despite several suitors. Anyway it's a comedy of errors and bad manners and I found it quite watchable. Perhaps 10 minutes too long. 8/10

Sounds like fun. I've always enjoyed Miranda Hart's work, and she looks to be properly posh in this film.

Hey KDC you planning on seeing Color Of Outer Space?

As a big Lovecraft fan I am rather interested in this one...so I'm thinking is it worth seeing or not...as ticket prices here are insane gotta pick and choose which movies to see in the theater and which to buy on Bluray.

I'm aware of Colour Out of Space and the only review I've seen was favourable. It was released to theatres in the UK this weekend, but sadly didn't make it to my local cinema so I'm guessing it is getting a limited release here (usually gets to us if it is in 50 or more theatres). I may have to rent it, but for now I'll keep an eye open for it in case it expands.

Being a Lovecraft fanatic I have looked all over town for a copy on Bluray but the only place that can get it wants 38 dollars for it because it is an "import". Fuck that

You might have to bite the bullet and buy it on Amazon it's about $15 for the BluRay.

I tried looking it up on Amazon.ca the Canadian storefront and all that came up was a B-movie from China??? I will have to check out the US storefront and see if they will deliver to Canada.

I'm a big fan of DeNiro, which reminds me I must finish watching the Irishman.

You need to stop with the spoilers dude. I’ve seen The Joker but others might not have. You  fucked up The Rise Of Skywalker for me.

De Niro is an icon
