How did Sam Worthington make a career as a "professional actor" like this ? It's beyond me .
The inexpressive creature he becomes at the end has more emotion than him. His acting is as consistent as an anthropometric photo.
In the other hand, this movie is somewhat disturbing though full of nonsense. Strange.

Ok, it is that time of the year again when I go through my favourite films of the year. Some of these came out in teh US late in 2017, but not until 2018 here in the UK.

I saw 76 films in cinema this year, down from 85 last year, partly because there were fewer films which interested me, but also I didn't see as many films twice as I previously have.

Once again it was a poor year for animation (the 2 in my top 12 aside), even Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet seemed like half-hearted filler. There is some promise that next year may see in an upturn in quality.

45 including once when her father tagged along as he wanted to see Fantastic Beasts 2.

Amusing story of an actual event where the people of a small town in Wales are upset to find out that their mountain is not quite big enough to be called a mountain, and is therefore a hill. 7.5/10

A disturbing and very scary film .Toni Collette demonstrates a so impeccable acting, unrecognizable as the film approaches the end. The last twenty minutes are completely crazy.
Watch out, clues are scattered throughout the movie that should help us understand the end that ask a lot of questions.
It's probably necessary to see the film a second time to gather the pieces of the puzzle.

Watched The Trasure last night. Romanian film about two guys digging to find a cache of family wealth... about as exciting as watching guys dig a hole can be. No idea why it was made, or even won a Cannes prize.
