What was the last Movie you saw... Part III

We saw Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again this weekend. It is what it is... the songs are performed (generally) quite well and the story is a bit by-the-numbers but I wouldn't expect anything else as the story is just there to link the songs together. Cher comes across as creepy, but Omid Djallili as the customs official is really funny and I think Lily James is fast becoming my No. 1 choice for the future "Mrs Charlie" (hubba hubba!). Overall it's not really my sort of film but the girlfiend loved it and wants the DVD when it comes out. 6/10

We saw Cocktail on DVD this evening. Wow, that's 95 minutes of my life I'll never get back! I thought it was supposed to be a classic, I now see it won 2 Razzies!! 3/10

I saw Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation yesterday in a cinema full of kids!

The film was such a let down, I quite liked the first two but this was just moronic! 4/10

We saw Ant-Man and the Wasp today. It's a fun little film if a little "throw away" as it really doesn't progress the MCU story that much. There's no real baddy in the film just a character who has her own requirements which conflicts the requirements of the main guys. It is very funny in places and some nice ideas involving shrinking and enlarging but it has no real sense of danger. 7.5/10
